Minutes:

The meeting opened with introductory remarks and welcome address by President Dr.Prema D’Cunha. The office bearers of MOGS escorted Dr.R.S.Mahale, Chief Guest of the Installation function and Dr.Amritha Bhandary, Election Officer to the dais.

Dr.Vatsala Kamath, Secretary, MOGS, presented her report and apprised the members regarding the achievements of MOGS in the preceding year 2017-18. She thanked the Organizing team members of YUVA KSOGA held in Mangaluru, and all members of MOGS for their active participation, in making the 1^st ever YUVA KSOGA meet in Mangaluru a grand success.

Dr.Aruna Kamath, Treasurer, presented the Treasurer’s Statement of Accounts of MOGS for the year 2017-18. It was proposed for adoption by Dr.Naveenchandra Nayak and seconded by Dr.R.S.Mahale.

The Accounts of YUVA KSOGA was presented to the AGM by Dr.Rajesh Bhat, Treasurer of YUVA KSOGA Conference. It was proposed for adoption by Dr.Veena Bhagawan and seconded by Dr.Amritha Bhandary.

Dr.Prema D’Cunha, in her address, thanked the MOGS members and the Executive Committee members for the cooperation extended to her team during her tenure and wished the new team of Office-bearers success for the ensuing year. She proposed to increase the Annual membership fees as well as the Life-membership fees of MOGS. However, it was observed that the matter will be decided in the next AGM only.

Dr.Amritha Bhandary, Election officer for 2018-19 Office bearers, announced the names of the new President, Vice-presidents, Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Committee members. Dr.Vatsala Kamath was installed as President by Dr.Prema D’Cunha by handing over a rose.  Dr.Harish Shetty and Dr.Sally Mary Abraham were installed as Vice-Presidents; Dr.Prasanna Kumar Shetty K. was installed as Secretary; Dr.MangalaGowri Hegde as Jt Secretary; Dr.Aruna Kamath was installed as Treasurer, and Dr.Pramoda Laxman as Jt.Treasurer; Dr.Bharathi Shetty, Dr.Vidyashree Kamath, Dr.Aparna Rajesh, Dr.Lynsel Texteera were installed as Executive Committee members by the respective outgoing office-bearers.

Dr.R.S.Mahale delivered the Chief Guest’s address and wished the new Team good luck. Dr.Prasanna Kumar Shetty, delivered the Vote of Thanks. National Anthem was sung.

The Ceremony was followed by a short entertainment program and Dinner at the same Venue.

Minutes of the Annual general Body Meeting of Mangalore Obstetrics and Gynaecological Society held on 22^nd March 2019 at Hotel Deepa Comforts , Mangalore.

The meeting opened with the introductory remarks and welcome address by President Dr. Vatsala Kamath. The office bearers of MOGS escorted Dr. R.S. Mahale , Chief Guest of the installation ceremony and Dr. Prema D. Cunha , Election Officer to the dias. The minutes of the AGM meeting (2018-2019) was proposed by Dr. Mahale and seconded by Dr. Amritha.

Dr. Prasanna Kumar Shetty , Secratary, MOGS presented the report and apprised the members regarding the achievements of MOGS ( MOGS won the best society award for 2018-2019) and various academic meetings held during the year 2018-2019. He thanked all the members of MOGS for their active participation in all the meetings. The annual report was proposed by Dr. Sally Mary Abraham and seconded by Dr. Rajesh.

Dr. Vatsala Kamath was installed as President by Dr. Prema D Cunha by handing over a rose. Dr. Harish Shetty and Dr. Sally Mary Abraham were installed as Vice Presidents. Dr. Vidyashri Kamath as Secretary and Dr. Sharon Rasquinha as Joint Secretary. Dr.  Nishita Shettian was installed as Treasurer and Dr. Pramoda Laxman as Joint Treasurer. Dr. Bharathi Shetty, Dr. Aparna Rajesh, Dr. Deepa Kanagal, Dr. Ravikath G and Dr. Lynsel Tereira were installed as executive members.

Dr. R. S. Mahale delivered the chief guests address, appreciated the good work by Dr. Vatsala Kamath and her team and wished the new team good luck. Dr. Vidyashri Kamth, incoming Secretary delivered the Vote of thanks. National Anthem was sung. The ceremony was followed by dinner.
