The Mangalore Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society(MOGS) in association with Apollo Diagnostics, successfully conducted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on 13th March 2026 at Ocean Pearl, Hotel, Mangalore.
The programme, organised during Endometriosis Awareness Month, brought together members of the obstetrics and gynaecology fraternity for an evening of academic learning, professional interaction and an important organisational milestone. The scientific session was delivered by Dr. Sibi Chakraborty Kannan, Consultant Medical Genetics, GRL, Apollo Diagnostics, on the topic “Precision Oncology in Gynecologic Malignancy.”
The session provided valuable insights into the evolving role of precision medicine and genetics in the diagnosis and management of gynecological malignancies. The discussion highlighted the growing importance of personalised approaches in oncology and their
relevance to contemporary clinical practice.
The academic programme was followed by the Annual General Body Meeting of the society and the Installation Ceremony of the Office Bearers
for the term 2026–27.
